nah with a downhill its doable, then again i would think the rpms would max out even on 5th before reaching that speed

The gearing on a 320i is too short. That has to be a 325 or 328.

It is a 320i... I've witnessed myself (I was in the car) of a 320ia '97 doing 245... I didn't belive my friend when he said was going that fast when he told me, so he asid get in and let me show you...

The car in the picture I'm not sure if its auto or 5 spd.. But he says he was close to the cut out.

The car wasn't on a dyno, even on some local bmw boards where he lives people were calling it BS since some people say their rpm's woudln't let them get to that speed. But maybe the old owner of the car changed its tranny or something, I'm not sure. But I can assure you the picture not fake and not on a dyno.

Edit : maybe he isn't running the stock size tires, and his speedo coudl be off too... thats an other thing

Its my friend's friend's car... He recently traded in his F355 for a Daiblo, and here is a pic they shot while doing a top speed run...

I also have a video of them doing 300km/h in the f355 before he traded the car in. I will post that here very soon.
