no elise is 4 cylinder, the north american version gets the celica's 180hp VVTi, because they decided it would cost too much to license emissions for the european engine.
actually its more like 200HP and 200 pounds less in North America.... Lotus took the celica engine reworked it, changed the intake head and exhaust, and a different ECU, great improvement

Funny how those two guys just blew buy everyone else like that, amazing, that ellise handles like a dream man, but cant keep up to the ferrari on the straights.
anyone know what track that is?, I need to download it to play it in F1C, LOL.
It is a beefed up Celica motor and the car weigh virtually nothing.
21-2200 lbs. F40 is sweet ass but look how quick the Elise catches him on corners. AT THE END OF EVERY STRAIGHT AWAY THERE ALWAYS IS A CORNER. Road coarse times I think they would be dead even if not the Elise out in front.
