Where did it go, I know it is not leaking, my car doesn't smoke.

Re: sh*t WHERE DID MY OIL GO???!!!

Vlad, make it a habit to check your oil every 1-2 weeks. The harder you drive the car, the more oil it uses. It is perfectly normal to lose about a quart of oil per ~2000-3000km. (If the car is driven HARD!) If you take your car to a driving school, you can expect to lose about a quart per day.

I was missing of 3.5l
I didn't know about that m3 eats so much oil.
I'm really redlining my car everyday.

no, not racing just reaching speed limit faster

3.5l after 5000-6000km of hard driving, is it a lot?

It really depends on a number of things.

First of all, when you added 3.5l of oil, did you wait for the oil to make its way to the oil pan(10-15min) before checking?. What I am trying to say that perhaps you added a bit too much. What's the level now?

Also what kind of oil are you using? Thinner oil will tend to burn up slightly faster than a thicker one.

I didn't wait for 10-15min, before check I usually start the car and leave it running for 10 sec.

I used 10w30 syntetic Mobil 1

Thats why, when you start your motor, you kick up the oil within the engine. If you check your oil before you start your car, there will be more cuz its sitting at the bottom of your pan.

Vlad, you have to take it easy on your car eh? running 5000-6000 RPM's everyday for longer periods of time will shorten the life on your engine drastically.

hmm so when should I check oil? before I start my car or after?

Higher RPMs are much more fun.

Before, then you know how much oil is actually in the pan.

I hear ya on the RPM's but ya gotta pace yourself. Its no fun when your compression goes, and your engine eventually dies.

Let the car sit for a good 30 min before actually checking the oil. It's also better to check the oil when the car is cold.

I would say that the M3 (m50/b32) motor consumes quite a bit of oil on average. I usually lose anywhere between 2-3 litres per 6000km. You just have to make it a habit to check your oil level regularly (and make sure to top it off accordingly). BTW I only use Mobile1 synthetic.

I am not sure exactly why this occurs but have read numerous posts on all the other boards (roadfly/dtm/bimmerforums) complaining of the same thing. I suppose it's just the nature of the beast!! I guess the extra power comes at price!!
