Before attending a meet or cruise (HAND HELD)
Consider purchasing a Motorola Hand-Held two way radio.
My 5420 model seems to work great and gets good battery milage too. I would have cut off a passing member if ti weren't for these marvelous devices

Hey Graham, I see the only difference between this and yours is "38 interference eliminator codes." What is that?

sounds good... u gonna wait till spring though? Dunno how much we'll need it until then, any cruises/meets will probly be smaller ones over the winter. Maybe the price will drop too.. hah

Yeah sounds good. Then again, I have a friend who has 2 of these things, I bet he doesn't even use them. I'll try and get them for like 20 bucks or something, lol. I think he got them for free anyways.

I think that means sub channels. It's a good option. I was able to buy mine as a single but it wasn't that cheap as I recall.
