Awkward temp gauge update......
Well, my mechanic got around to my car today and it seems I have a crack/leak in my radiator.......Needless to say the rad is being replaced and he said I might as well replace the water pump and thermostat as well, because they will go in the future.......
I am looking at $800.00, plus I asked to have the e-brake tightened as well as a coolant flush, so I am probably looking at $1000.00......
Oh well, it does have 173,000kms and as been a very reliable and good maintenance car.......

To be honest if it was warmer weather, and I had a decent spot to work on the car, I would just buy the parts and do it myself.......

I don't think that price is too bad, I still would have done it DIY, but I have the place to do it, and I would have got an e46 M3 rad instead of stock and done the fan delete.
