Help w/ stuck door on 87 325e

When I just got this 87 325e the laddy had "mentioned" something bout the pass. side door being "funky" Well asit IS I can not open the door at all...The inside handle seem to be stuck and wont move......The outside handle seem to "funtion" proper but still wont open......
Is it possable to take off ALL the arm rest and door panle w/ the door closed?????
ANY help would be great.....I dont YET know these carreal well

Ya it is. My rear door was stuck like that.

I had to pull it mechanically with my hand in the door. I pulled HARD. It was all dirty or something.

SO I take it that I SHOULD be able to pull the door panel off with the door still closed????
