How long does the CADMIUM PLATING last for on BREMBO ROTORS?

I got a set of front Brembo cadmium plated crossdrilled rotors. My question is..... how long does the cadmium last for? Will the initial braking wear the cadmium finish down right away as soon as I get the rotors put on? If so.... what is the point of having the cadmium finish if you pay more for it to wear out instantly. I kind of want to maintain the golden finish... looks sweet.
Thanks for any information.

the plating is used to combat rust in the holes and on the hub... if there was none on it then those rotors would weaken and look like shit after a rainfall
