how do i program keyless remotes?!?!?!

this is my first newer bmw. the remotes were missing when i got the car, so my salesperson hooked me up with a remote from another. how do i program this remote to my car? any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

Is it a factory key less unit or is it after market

it is factory, however i have since found out that my car does not have the factory alarm system required for the keyless to work. dumb of me to assume that it was standard equipment.

Visit the dealer.... I lost mine and was going to get another one but i heard they want like 200 for one....
