check engine

Does anyone know how to find out why a check engine light is on or has something to find out what code it is? Any help would be great

well i have that RESET tool, and code reader, if you were to swing by i can reset the light, and check it out for you!!
But it'll cost ya, ya gotta let me take the M for a lil spin!!
lol, just lemme know if you wanna do this today!
i gotta leave for work at 2 so anytime before that!
