2 posts in 1
I read that apparantly some canadian radio station made a prank call on Bernie Ecclestone hehe, did any of You guys hear this on YOur radio's, just curious seeing most of YOu are canadians

And I had my M40 E30 318 up to 180km/h today and it still had some decent pull from there *for what it is*. I laid of because the road was becoming unstable and the cars infront of me were getting BIGGER if You know what I mean, and it was a highway, Idon't do 180 in school zones....to often nah jk.
So what have other M40 owners got it up to?

hey , the radio thing is true. Guys from a montreal radio station called him and said they were M. Chretien(the Prime Minister) and asked Bernie why there wouldn't be a GP in 2004... he said because of the anti-tobbaco law .

Bernie

and I have an E30 1991(think its the M42 engine) and got it to 200km/h uphill which year is yours? <--- oops just read its a '91 too.
whats the difference between the m40 and m42 engine??

peace, cya

My car is limited to 190km/h...if the limiter wasn't there, it would easily hit redline in 5th gear, the way it was pulling when it hit the rev limiter...it hits that limiter HARD...

the difference is 4 valves I understand M40 12 valves 87KW and 167 Nm of mercyless torque, M42 16valves 103KW and 175nm of torque, or is that the M44? I think the M44 has 180nm and uses 7% less fuel than the M42 in the std E36 chassis. I found a pic of Bernie Ecclestone posing with Arnie at the silverstone grand prix, I wonder if they are going to sighn Bernie as the evil Terminator in T4, like maybe the T-F1 hehe
