My baby died, I think I need a alternator one

My cars got no electricity. Its stranded and Im ****ed. I need help. I need a part. I just bought a seat. Kill me now.

Does anyone have an alternator or any ideas what it could be?

Im up shit creek. No car for the long weekend. My cars on the side of my road right now after getting towed home. It died on terry fox and britania. Right at a red. Hazards didn't work. Nothing worked. Got a boost from my dad. Got a bit further home. Died again.

I had a problem like that last winter... the lights went dim and I had to turn them off to conserve power to get home ( 6 am on the way to work in january!) Turns out that the alternator was ok ($200 later) and that there was a bad wire/ground at a connection near the fusebox. Check the wiring before you buy a new alternator!

Had to drive about 40km without ANY lights and it was DARK!
so it might be the wires?!
is there any way to test the alternator?!
