Need help
Ok i cant log in into my win XP, i forgot my pass, iv been on my PC for like 45 min and nothing, im at my college now, does anyone have any ideas other than formating the sucker ?

do you remember the administrative password (if you set one) jus type it in and you can change your old password again

reboot your pc while hitting F5. This should bring up safe mode with the option to log in as either the administrator or any other account on there. Assuming u haven't put a pass on the admin, then u should be able to access that and go into the user profiles and edit your pass.

ok i did the F5 thing but it asked for a password again, i donno man, u guys have anymore ideas?

did it give u an option to get into the admin side? or just your normal user account?
If u cant get into the admin side you're screwed.
EDIT: Maybe not, u may be able to repair the OS and retrieve your data with your winxp cd.

There's a way to get back into your comp by unhookin this one chip or something
not sure if it works
check your owners manual should help

if your drive is set with reasonable partitions (i.e. one part of the drive is your operating system and the other is your data) then just format the O/S portion and reinstall XP

You are referring to a supervisors password in the bios whihc does not affect XP.
