dinan is a company that makes performance parts for bmw's,, for someone to have a dinan badge they either have to earn 10 points from buying products or buy it for an obsene price of like $2500,, the reasoning behind this is because Dinan doesnt want just any car to own a dinan badge,,they have to earn it,, (basically they dont want to become a type R badge kinda thing)

here is the breakdown of the dinan points that i got from a brochure at the auto show,,

POINTS DESCRIPTION
5 suspension system
2 carbon fibre brake cooling ducts
5 performance wheels
1/each strut and shock tower braces
2 engine software
1 tranny software
3 exhaust
2 CAI or air box
2 throttle boddy
2 exhaust manifold
2 air meter
2 LSD
2 clutch assemblies
10 supercharger
1/each carbon fibre engine covers

hope this helps.,.....
