Talking WANTED: E30 1988 chip

Hey guys,
Anyone have or know where I can pic up
a computer chip (only) for a 1988 325is?
I have lost mine over the years and would swap it for
my performance chip I now run. I got it from a place called Sanroc Perf. but need factory one to run w/my turbo.
Let me know.

Does your ECU # end in 153 or 173?

Lightbulb ??

not sure..the original is in the garbage when I got married. (don't ask) The performance chip is in the car know so I don't know off hand. The shop mentioned that the same year should work. MIne is advancing the timing etc which does not agree with the turbo I'm runing.

Did you check with MarkD in this forum? He does all kinds of chip stuff in TO.

The computer itself should have the ECU# printed on the bottom. Just remove the top cover in your glove compartment to take a look.
