I'm sorry you feel that way, but we get 100's of calls a day. Also many messages. I try to return everyone's calls in a timely manner. We are very busy.

Again we are sorry if we do not return your calls or emails right away, we will get back to you as soon as we can!

+1

I've shared the same experience, and was given the impression that certain jobs are "above them".

Was unable to get an appointment.

Has anyone here visited Auto Evolution in Oakville lately?

I've read about members getting their subframes reinforced there, for around the $500 mark.

Does anybody know of a bmw shop that is open on the weekend? The ones I've been to so far are either close or don't do any work on weekends.

Engineered is, I believe, but it will be a little $$. If you need parts, you'll be out of luck though...
I know Bimmersport did some work on my car on a Saturday, but it's not a regular thing, it was started earlier in the week.
Thanks again for that.

For anyone in the Barrie area, there is a shop called The Garage. Young guy named Tom runs it. Works on BMW and other Euro cars. Knowledgeable, friendly, good prices. I needed rear calipers for my E30 in a hurry and was not disappointed.

My 2006 BMW 530xi is getting on in years and the repairs are starting to really add up. Up to this point, I've had all my maintenance and repairs done at the dealer. After my last visit to BMW, it was apparent that I needed to find a more cost effective shop or get another car.

So I read all 21 pages of referrals in this forum and contacted the top 3 most recommended shops. After much deliberation, based on the responses I got back, I decided to take my car to Darren at AlphaWerx Auto. After Darren went through and checked the entire car, I sent him the list of repairs recommended by BMW. Darren went through the list one by one and explained to me what repairs were urgent and what could wait. He even suggested that instead of replacing the vanis solenoid, which was recommended by BMW, he could take out and clean the part at a fraction of the cost. My family will be taking our business to AlphaWerx Auto from now on.

Just a quick thanks to everyone in here for posting their recommendations and I hope that I help out some people with mine. I'll keep everyone posted on my future visits.

Brought my 328 into Alphawerx (Bayview and John St.) a few weeks ago for a hesitant acceleration during normal driving. No error codes. Thought it might be transmission. But Darren checked it out, got it to throw a code and determined it was ignition coils. He found the culprit coil but I decided to change all 6 coils and my spark plugs for preventive maintenance. Car runs great now.

Thx Darren.

Hey guys, I used to pay $20 for someone to take my provided oil and filter and change the oil in my e46 m3. Gave him the new drain plug ring and he installed everything back for me. Reliable mechanic in Virginia when I was there for a few years. Is there anyone in the east end that can provide a similar service? I read about some great shops in the east but I don't need anything major (yet). Any suggestions?
