gasoline will be the only thing that will work. It wont harm the paint as long as you give it a good wash after and apply some Klasse.

So I got this far, the bra is off, but there is a shitload of adhesive left! I got tired and I just washed the car, i will wait for a hot day, and I will get . something strictly for adhesive, goo gone is shit. I used a plastic scraper, and a heat gun, although now I am thinking I should have used a hair dryer for less heat, making the adhesive stick to the bra

Just like I said before, pressure washer is the only good way! If you try heat, you get separation from the glue, and a big mess after! (I did try that at first). Now you have to use a solvent to remove the glue...paint thinner is good, so is acetone, even gasoline....just do a small area at one time, and dont leave any on the paint!

Just finished work, car has been sitting all day in the sun, the adhesive is sticky obviously, was about to buy acetone, and the parts source guy told me he has 3M adhesive remover! So that's what I just used, and it's coming off!!!!! Says to keep wet, so I'm not being cheap :p will post further progress

So this is the final product, there is a faint line that shows where the clear bra was, but overall it's all gone, I started using too gone and a heat gun, that didn't work very good, than used 3M adhesive remover spray with cloth, that helped, than used brake cleaner, just as good as 3M adhesive, than finally resorted to gasoline, and that actually removed it the quickest, and the least amount of work, mind you the car was sitting all day in the sun, than I brought it into the shop and took the rest of the clear bra off, and washed it.

Nice job. Sounds like a real pain. Any idea if that was a 3M bra or some inferior product?

Gasoline was a gas shell brand :p just kidding, um it was a 3M legit adhesive remover, but like that guy said, gasoline works best, mind you this bra was DRY and really cracked, i doubt anyone else would have as much trouble taking theirs off, just use a hair dryer and a hard plastic squeegee type scraper, or after a few hours in the sun would really help, should come right off

No, I meant what brand was the clear bra. Was it 3M brand or something else?
