rear licence plate bracket

Try as I might, I can't find the part number for the rear licence plate bracket on a 1997 750iL, even at RealOEM.

Need to replace my Japanese unit for a North American plate holder.

Help?!

Thanks 740-iLL, but what I'm thinking of is the thing that looks like this:

The holes for the licence plate are built into the trunk lid cover.

Ah yes I see. The holes in mine are too far apart - European back panel, with a Japanese adapter plate attached.

Thanks for your help with this.

You're welcome!

You should be able to find a NA spec trunk lid cover from a wrecker that would have the correct spacing...
