E53 tow hitch oem/ecs can't find one

Want to pull my trailer this summer, with my 03 x5 trying to find an original hitch or ecs has one I would use. Problem is they are backordered. BMW here in Edmonton said there is none in north America or in Germany. What are my options. Don't like the aftermarket ones that just bolt on, that you have to cut out the lower body panel.

P.S. first post here. hopefully someone can help, Thanks.

I know it's aftermarket, but check eBay for Curtis made hitches. They make them almost identical to BMW and ship from Mississauga. I had one on my 330ci and just installed one on my X3.
By the way, OEM ones are also bolt on.......

I know the OEM ones also bolt on. But on the Curtis one a lower piece goes down close to the rear diff, bolts into the subframe, then you have to trim the lower body panel to fit around it. That is on the one I've seen. I will look into them more . Maybe it's something new. thanks webb70.

Found a used OEM one on a 2001 X5. Bought the whole car. Now need 3.0engine to make that a nice car. And so it begins.
