Three Stage Intake Manifold

Just wondering if anyone has done the three stage intake manifold swap for their N52 engine? If so where did you get the part and who installed it?

I know of at least 4 local (GTA) 328s that have done the swap. I believe all of them got it used through various junk yards / other members of another forum. I know 2 of them did the actual swap themselves while the other 2 went to Bimmersport to do it for them. Keep in mind that after doing the swap you will need an ECU tune as well in order to get the most out of the mod.

Just wondering how much did you pay for it and did it come with the valves?

Your best bet is finding someone with a core engine willing to part with the manifold. Otherwise, you're stuck buying it new along with the DISA valves.

I swapped it myself in under 2 hours. Pulling these things off is 10 times quicker and easier than the E36/E46. No more mess of wires and hoses underneath!

The wiring for the DISA valves is already on your current wiring harness too. The power gain is significant.

Yeah I can't seem to find any junk yard locally that will part it. Found some in the states but they can't confirm the part for me.

I have picked one up... maybe a little older because it only has one port for the vent hose when the 09 328i has two port... so I need to figure out how to plug one of the ports.

Which tune did you use and was it a local place?

Sweet! I'm going to get an Active Autowerke tune from Bimmersport this summer. I don't have anything yet.

Yeah AA tune and there was one more I don't remember that people normally use. Trying to figure out the difference.

Actually this is what I picked up http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=15341701 so if you look at Post 13, I need to figure out how to plug it like that... either I need to know the dimensions of that hose or buy another hose.... parts in Canada cost so much more..
