Another thing you can try to deter thieves is to get a dog... and not one of those little fashion accessory posh mutts, a real dog like a lab/sheppard/rottie/akita that kind of thing... casual thugs will generally move on to the next place if there is a dog around that's going to raise holy hell if they come creeping round...

any news on your car bella?

Ha! My parents and sis had 4 big dogs at one time. They would go wild jumping at the window if someone passes too close to the house. Even though they were all gentle, a thief would be a fool to test that...

I've got a Retriever who is super friendly with everyone. But knowing what dogs are like - unfamiliar dogs may appear friendly, but are unpredictable - totally not worth the risk.
