when i got home today from a car cruise when i parked my car and turned it off i pressed the brakes and it sounded like air was escaping from behind the pedal. so i turned the car back on and i could still hear the noise a bit when i braked. is this a problem could this mean the braking system could have a issue. please help.

hello

thats what the good ol e brake is for, got mine already fixed. have no clue why it would sound like air when pressed. does it sink and have no pressure at all. Re bleed your brake again.

Pumping the brakes when the car is off normally makes a squishy air sound. Pump it 5-10 times with the car off and the pedal should get hard.

It's the brake booster. You don't hear it when it's running because the engine drowns it out, and it's under vacuum...

If your brakes work like normal, you shouldn't be concerned.
