Ok, the seller is an idiot. 99% of the time, a person inspects the car, if they like it they will leave a deposit and come later that day, or in a few days with the rest of the funds. If the buyer doesn't return, or changes his mind, the seller keeps the deposit and re-sells the car. Simple, very simple. If he *really* removed the bulb for the check engine light ( I don't believe that is possible because they are LED's that are soldered to the motherboard of the cluster), than that is about as slimy as it gets. It is very possible there are codes that are stored that have not tripped the check engine light, evap codes or coolant temp codes are very common to behave that way.
In any case, original poster, you really need to work on your typing, it took me a couple of tries to understand what the hell you are saying.
