This is the situation.
-late 95 325i with silver 413 DME
-swapped in 96 m52
-96 m52 converted sensors to obd1 and hooked up to original obd1 harness.
Why doesn't the car crank?
Any solutions that involve keeping current DME and its chip?
If I get a red label 413 DME what chip do I need?
I suck at electrics...
I just don't understand how the DME is acting up if all the connections on the m52 are obd1. Like how does the DME know the engine in it now is different? Pulling my hair out trying to wrap my head around this
