Being a car enthusiast at this age sucks. This is the second event this year I won't be attending due to the limitations of holding a G1 License.

Have fun for me, guys... and see you at 2015's Bimmercruise.

Your G1 only limits you to participating on track, there's still a huge car show to see, vendors to buy from, prizes to be won and racing action to watch! We hold track events numerous times/year... Bimmercruise only happens once/year!

Generally speaking, from leading last year's Bimmercruise, we were on country roads the whole time too which means that someone with a G1 could drive on them as well.
Has that changed now Randy?

Very true, guys.

I think I just overreacted a bit. It's just that I was so excited to participate in the track portion of the event (it was what I was most looking forward to) only to find out that I can't participate for another two years for the same reason that I couldn't join you guys on the Midnight Cruise, either. It was not the most wonderful information to hear, as I'm sure you could understand.

I had previously planned going on a driving trip with my dad around then, but decided we'd go to Bimmercruise instead once I'd learned about the track driving portion. Now that I can't participate, it's a tough decision between going on a driving trip or going to Bimmercruise. So, I might still see you guys there! Maybe I could score a ride-along with a car or two instead.

We'll see.

Any word on which vendors will be there/what they'll be offering? That could be a part of my decision making process, too.

Alot of people seem to think this show is all about the track, its an event that anyone can enjoy and offers bmw enthusiast's of all types a venue to gather and enjoy the brand.

If tracking isn't your thing there is a tonne of other stuff to enjoy at the event, the autoslalom was added about 4 years ago, and the lapping last year. My first Bimmercruise was in whitby, and it was a show n shine, with some people doing dyno runs, and I had a blast.

This is a complete day for all bmw owners and no one should miss this event

Do we need to preregister for a spot in the autoslalom?,my wife and I would like to share my E30 now that it seems to be running/cooling itself well enough.

There is no limit to the number of entries we're accepting for the Autoslalom Tom. No preregistration necessary, just arrive in time.
