Question Best 18" staggered runflats for E92

Hey Guys,

Before I purchase a set of 18" staggered Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 runflat tires for my 2007 328i, I was wondering if someone would suggest a better summer tire? I currently run Pilot Sports (and really like them) but they're getting pretty worn. I run blizzaks in the winter. The tires have to be runflats because I don't want to get stranded without a spare

FYI, the Pilot Sports will run me about $1900 including taxes and installation from a local shop.

get a CAA membership instead of RFT's. Its cheaper and then you dont have to deal with shitty runflats
I run a canadian led kit & hid kit company, if you have any questions about led headlights or hid kits in canada or would like to check out our products please contact me here:

Thanks, but I want to stick with runflat tires.

I've been very pleased with the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 runflats and would love another set, but they're really pricey. I'm open to buying a used set of tires, but almost all of the staggered sets seem to be the Potenza RE050A (that comes stock on the car). I've read lots of negative reviews on the Potenzas, but did Bridgestone happen to update the RE050A so that it is no longer such a crappy tire?

Check they have great prices on Michelin PSS, I know the runflats were more costly but didn't think it was that much more.

A set of 19s I was quoted 1260+tax for PSS, but those are non-run flats.

PS2s are a hard tire to beat if you liked them, there is not much out there that's better, esp if you are limited to runflat only tires. I don't think the PSSs have a runflat version yet, if they did i'd recommend those.

I drove a 5 series in europe not too long ago with ContiSportContact runflats. They were very nice, but they're usually a bit tricky to find (I think Tirerack has them).

If you want more aggressivity, Pirelli Zero Neros?

But as everyone says, runflats are a huge compromise.

Thanks guys. Somewhat related:

I like the ride of my 18" runflats, but if I were to go with 19's (that obviously have a lower profile), would the ride be much more rough than on the 18's?
