Question M73n injectors (E38 750iL 2000) how long to do they last

The M73n engine (5.4L v12) has some odd injectors, they have an airline supply to assist with fuel vaporization, however this means the seals in the manifold are actually on a plastic housing and not the metal injector (picture below).

After 100k miles mine have gone brittle and failed, has anyone else had this?

Many Thanks
