Most likely it hasn't been set up. You can find someone on Max to program it for you, or if you have the cable and the program you can even do it yourself.

I didn't want to invest on something that I'll use only once so I have someone to program that for me.

i bought the open/close module for 90 dollars shipped (came in 5 days from italy). Other modules and features are available too.

the website itself is a tad weird/sketchy so i just contact him via email and he sent me a paypal invoice. His name is Fabio.

Didnt know about coding, would have went that route, seems cheaper.
I was just looking at this module to be able to do the "one touch" opening and closing of the top. How difficult was the install? Did you have to cut any wires? How well is it working for you? I can't seem to find any reviews of this product out there.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, it can be installed in 5 mins or less, behind where the nav and cd player is theres an cable wrapped up in tape, you upwrap it and it expose three cables, the cables are colour coded adn the module has three colours to match up. tape them or slice into them and your done.

The people from fbc sends you an install manual via email once you purchase it. Ive had it for two months now and its been working great.

The ordering process is kind of weird, i was skeptical lol, I placed the order online and nothing really happend i had to contact them via email and he sends me an invoice over paypal. The whole process took about a week from ordering to receviing, and i got it in the mail from Italy with tracking number

Got it done last week

Just rolled through this thread just out of curiosity. I'm not sure if you have found your answer for the reprogramming of your roof through remote but Rocco @ RMP just hooked this up for me last week on my E46 M3 within seconds(literally). Press and hold UNLOCK for windows/roof down, press and hold LOCK for windows/roof up.
