radiator fan

i just replaced my rad fan 2 weeks ago, and it has already broken again. there are no signs that it has contacted the fan shroud and when i spin it by hand its not rubbing on any thing i didn't change the fan clutch though if that could be the culprit
has this ever happened to anyone else?

Got a new fan my clutch was bad and also one of the tabs on the shroud wasn't secure on the radiator hopefully that fixes it

Sorry I missed this, yes, this is usually the case. You're lucky it didn't smash into your hood.
