I understand the issue with timed events but driver education? My company has no issue with it. Although to tell you the truth I've seen more cars paint the wall at DE events than lapping days. I'd attribute that to guys that pay to lap are probably more experienced, although it may just be my perspective ... who knows

Ive always operated on the principle of being "on my own" if I take my car on the track.

insurance for is out on the public road.



great pics of the 964. horrible rate my god. I was thinking of a 964 next but ummm ya. maybe not.

^ Agreed, RE track insurance.
I could get Silver wheels, at about $400/year, but very limited use. On the plus side, these cars have stopped depreciating, and are starting to tick upward...

Yes, the 964 and any air cooled p-car is getting more valuable.

The company's fear is less about damage to your car and almost exclusively about injuries. If you lose control, take out a few spectators and kill yourself in the process... What is your family left to do when your estate gets sued for millions? The insurance company is likely to get dragged in regardless.
