Thanks... I wasnt sure as I put on my bely within 5 sec. Every time. I couldnt find any wire going from the belt clip assembly... can anyone tell me where to look for a short in the seat belt sending unit?

Problem solved... ended up taking it to someone local... and oh boy!! Did I get raped!!! I've never taken my cars for any service to anyone other then exhaust work, so to see a bill for a somple "ignition switch terminals clean", gave me a mild hart attack.... a simple fix that I missed ... never again.

It happens.

The local shop probably just did its due diligence and checked everything... = labour time.
