Looking at some BBS wheels which are 15x6.5 et45. Will I need 20mm spacers F/R to clear everything?

Thanks for your time and expertise!

What are the offsets to have the wheel right below the fender (i don't want the tire to stick out of the car), both front and rear with 205/50/16 tires and no spacers, no rubbing.

Please check is this accurate:
16x7 front ET20?
16x8 rear Et15?
or
16x8 front ET?
16x8 rear ET15?

I wanted a XXR 501 wheels but i don't find 16x7 on market.

Thanks,
MB
16x8 +15 works all around with 205/45/16 tires without fender rolling. 205/50/16 might rub in the rear occasionally.

12mm to clear, but I'd suggest at least 20mm for them to look right.

Wheel Fitment

Ive been looking at a set of 16x8 et25 for the front and 16x9 et15 for the rear. These would go on my '91 318.

Another option would be 16x8 et25 or 16x9 et15 all the way around vs staggered. The 16x9 comes in et15 or et25, but the x8 only come in et25. Not sure why that is.

What would be the best fitment out of these? Id like to not have to do any fender rolling/bending, etc. thanks in advance for your time.

16x8 +25 front
16x9 +15 rear
15mm front spacers
205/45/16 tires all around

or

16x9 +15 square
3mm front spacers
205/45/16 tires all around

Thanks for the reply. Which would you recommend? Do you know if these tires would pass the load rating for insurance issues? This is my first car btw.

Lastly, if you had to pick any setup that was close to what i listed, what would you run? They can be different offsets, etc.

Thanks,
Mac

I am looking at fitting a set of BBS wheels on a 86 E30 325.

The specs are:
Wheel Size: 16 x 7
Wheel Offset: ET35
Tire Size: 205/45R16

What spacers will I need?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd go 16x9 +15 205/45 all around. I'm sure insurance wouldn't be happy about any of this mod at your own risk.

Ideally 15mm front 20mm rear. Won't rub but they'll fill out the arches nicely.

Thanks for the help. Ill probly go 16x9 square. In this thread you thought that the front would need 3mm spacers, but in a different one with a red sedan fitted with borbet type a's (also 16x9 et 15) you said no spacers were needed. Sorry for the confusion, just looking for a little clarification as to whether spacers would be needed.

Thanks again.
