What exactly is it that you're planning on doing this year that's going to involve blowing transmissions and diffs? lol

I've gotten to know quite a few people running chump, most common failure is motor at about 8hr mark on m20 motors, and are now running 3 core rads to help avoid engine failure. trans and diff failures are usually do to abuse by the drivers but do happen. A lot of teams have a set of diffs through the gear range depending on the track too.

I was in Guelph the summer before last, with my old white 4 door. I bought those TRM C1s off the Miata guy at your work.

I was originally bummed out moving back to Guelph. Should be more fun if there's a little bit of car community around there. Ottawa is shit, but they've got a few cool kids.

Anyone got motorcycles?

+1 to this

Also, going to start figuring out some sort of insurance for my car in the next week or so, figure out my options and go from there.

Well I was "running" the KW meets for the past few years, but the average turn out was like 3 cars so I'm just bailing on doing "official" meets this year. If you guys want to meet up every once in a while we can just post up a message a few days ahead of time or something

I'm cool with that. Tried doing some meets here in London last year an no one would show. I mean, I didn't really mind taking in some peace, quiet and coffee on a Sunday AM, but... Would have been nice if more people came out.

Anyway, I'll keep my eyes open about KW meetups. Since I'm hoping for some reliability this year I should be able to make it out more. I work off the 401 so leaving after work would be simple.

I don't think you are allowed to change the rear end ratio in chump?
