I'm interested to hear your opinions.
I'm planning on ordering a set of BC Racing for my '90 535i.
Any reason why you chose Megan?

I got a good price, just under 800 bucks shipped... as well... a friend told me that he knows someone with an e30 who had good experiences with them

Megan is made by BC, some minor stuff is different and it's cheaper by couple hundred dollars.

just took the front struts out... quick description/how to
i like to loosen off the top the bolts for the strut mount
20130312_194631.jpg
remove the brake caliper with bracket and hang it aside, i used some wire...
20130312_194710.jpg
*** dont forget to remove the pad sensor on the driver side caliper as well as unhook it from the strut
20130312_194838.jpg
unbolt the sway bar link
20130312_194809.jpg
remove allen bolt on disc and remove the disc
20130312_194950.jpg
20130312_195031.jpg
remove the three bolts holding the strut to the (forget them name.... but the part that connects the control arms to the strut housing)
20130312_195041.jpg
wiggle the strut back and forth and the strut should slide out and just undo the strut mount nutz the rest of the way and the strut should come right out

alrighty.... i got the coils off the struts and i cut the housings!!
first thing i did was compressed the coils with a $30 coil compressor from princess auto
20130314_213439.jpg
Then i removed the top strut nut
20130314_213427.jpg
pulled off the nut, washer, strut mount and spring
20130314_213540.jpg
20130314_213549.jpg
remove the strut insert collar, i used the tool in the picture and "gently" nudged the collar loose
20130314_214554.jpg
and everything apart!
