HELP NEEDED. Getting some bbs lm replicas
should i go for 19 x 9 or 18 x 8.5
please vote. car is lowered, im worried the 19"s might rub, also not too sure about 19's on a e36 but im getting them for the same price
just appreciate any feedback from the bredren to help me make my decision
also the 18's have a machined lip the 19's do not

I think 19's on an E36 are just too big. But if you are willing to go low enough you can pull it off (and when I mean low, you will not like to drive your car low).
do the 18's, enjoy the extra rubber between the rim and road, less rotating mass and slightly cheaper tires.

you can do 19's on a e36, its not hard.
18's are super easy to fit, but remember 235/40/18 is too big.
say no to shitty Chinese tires. (there are OK ones, though)

Lol 18s for sure. The lip probably looks better anyways. 19s on an e36 is a bit nuts

This. I ran 19" staggered CH on my E36 with no issues, and I coud've gone a lot lower. Johnny (from Bimmersport) ran 19" LM reps on his E36 coupe and it looked very right.
Personally, I hate LMs in 18" or smaller. The face looks tiny and stupid.
Whatever you do, do not run some garbage Chinese tires. Please don't.

I should have done this (might still do it in the future by ordering 2 more 18x9.5s) and then put 255's up front as well to match the 255's in the back

I like the look of the 19's, but for everyday use I would stick with the 18's.

It was lowered, ofcourse. On PSS9s. 19x8.5ET35 225/35/19 and 19x9.5ET40 245/30/19 Yokohama S.Drive (crap tires). If I were to do it again, I'd go with Pilot Sports and lower it even more with rolling the hell out of the fender lips, maybe even a slight pull. Or just shave them outright
