it doesn't look like the these lights are compatible with the 06 325i, only 2007 to current. My angel eye bulb just blew, so i need replacement bulbs and would rather replace them with the white color, instead of the current yellowish color. Do you carry the bulbs?

I've got a question about this change.
I asked my dealer about upgrading the angel eyes on my M3 and he sort of indicated that I shouldn't do it, but that some after market kits were available.
They don't want to do it again because apparently it's a pain in the butt to do the switch because it's a tight spot but it doesn't seem that bad to me. What concerns me is that I don't want to cause any issues with the car and have to go crawling to the dealer lol...any problems with the cars throwing codes?

Thanks

Hello canukgtp,

You ask a very good question which has been raised a few times by others as well. The LUX H8 V3 won't throw any codes and have been installed on hundreds of M3's without any issues. In the M3 owner's manual, it shows how to replace the H8 bulb if it burns out...that is essentially what you are doing. You are just replacing the H8 bulb with another H8 bulb. The replacement H8 bulbs that you would buy from a BMW dealer if you burned out your H8 bulb would not be a BMW part...it would be either Sylvania or some other brand. Replacing the H8 is not easy as it is definitely a tight fit if you have large hands, but it can be done and is well worth it.
Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Ross

Yup, that answers my question, I don't mind having a bit of difficutly installing the bulbs, as long as there isn't any compatibility issue with the computer, I'm good.

Thanks!

Is the price $245 plus taxes? Is local pickup available depending on where you're located..?

Yes, the price is $245 plus applicable taxes. We are based out of Winnipeg but ship by XpressPost so you could have them within 2 business days of your order.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Ross

I grabbed two set from Ross last summer, one for my E90 335 the other for my X5. Both are unbelievably bright, I have other BMW's pulling up beside me all the time asking what Im using for AEs.
