Random car pics from Germany & Spain

Just got back from a trip over there and there was lots to take pics of. Unfortunately most of it is moving, hard to catch the random stuff you pass or flies by.

Saw loads of late model BMWs but not lots of older stuff... but Munich is super rich city, so everyone has the latest. Loads of F30s!

Kinda dirty

Smoked headlights and tails

Clean Sedan body was nice but didn't see much done to it.

Not sure how tuned this 135 was but it sounded sick

My chariot for the week to blast the Autobahn in - F30 328i Touring Sport loaded

Posting up in front of my hotel

view from my hotel, monster "i" billboard - these Audi buses were sick, aero kit, aero colour-matched wheels and HIDs.

SMART retard made his own parking spot, mangled wheel and bodywork, then just bounced

Checking out the new MINI Paceman around mountain roads of Spain... no room for error with sheer cliffs but we still drove it hard.

Did you also notice how like 1 in 5 cars is a Porsche in Munich? I saw so many Porsches while I was there, at first I was like "oh, sweet!" and taking pics of every Porsche I passed by. By the time I left I wouldn't look twice when a Porsche passed by unless it sounded like it was tuned lol.

^^^ Yep, Panameras are as common as say a Lexus sedan here. There were 5 like surrounding my car in the underground alone.

Definitely played out.

And I couldn't count the amount 3-series Tourings or A4 Avants. Definitely like their wagons, I looked like a local in the F30 Touring.

Tough to say, I was on the resort Island of Mallorca. So lots of money flowing, posh shops and big yachts

The locals seemed relaxed about it anyway, just getting loaded at bars, chilling at cafes and hollering at girls to pass the time.

It is hard to tell unless you go outside of the tourist locations. I was in Barcelona for thanksgiving last year and you couldn't really tell that unemployment was 25%.

^Really? I was there around that time last year as well, and the number of people hanging out at cafes all day, and the general social atmosphere really gave me the impression that things were not going great... or that the work ethic was at least worthy of questioning. That being said I was coming from Germany where it is easy to see the big machine at work and the people eagerly turning it's wheels.

Munich is one the nicest cities in the world and a great atmosphere. One thing I love is how often I see extremly well kept youngtimers/oldtimers, particularly old school BMWs and Porsches. The comment about how many Porsches are on the road is incredibly true though... still is awesome though to drive around with them and get to see and hear them being used as they were intended to be on the dreamy German roads and Autobahns.

Yeah that's just Spain all the time though. They were even closing up for Siesta and reopening their shops in the afternoon. But they sure like to party regardless of economy why stay at home and cry?

EDIT1: I just confirmed the F30 Touring will only come to Canada in xDrive, so I got a taste of some euro-spec RWD action we'll never see.

EDIT2: I toured the BMW Museum, BMW Welt, the plant and the FIZ R&D so lots more on that coming soon.
