AC Schnitzer e39

well since i have got my car in early march i have been fully in love
and i have wanted to have a full ac schnitzer version
but since i cannot get an original one i decided to make my own
here is a full mod list and the way the car sits right now
as well as future plans

It's not too bad man, but in my opinion, their's a bit much going on E39's come from the factory looking great an im sure many bmw lovers would agree, being a bit more simple will help, id recommend looking into a few things, M Rear Bumper for better exhuast placement, maybe paint/or plastidip your chrome trim around the windows, and definitely some tire shine ! I thought my tires looked dry until I saw yours ! lol, but good luck man I love my E39

apart from the fog lights and front lip everything was sent from my friend from back in europe

and i really dont understand how you call it ugly
what did i do to it to "ruin the looks"

we all want our cars to look in a certain way more unique and more our own style so calling it ugly its just your perspective.

thanks yes i was actually looking in to one but since my friend is in Germany he is sending me the full acs lip kit but maybe in the future i defently want to do it
also here the car was not fully detailed so that is why

Exhaust cutout looks to DIY. Wheels are very generic.
I appreciate your goal but I think the path there could have been better thought out.
He biggest impact you can have on any car is the stance. Lowering and wheels should be your first step and all the peripheral stuff can be done later.
I completely disagree about the 19's. I personally think 18's with a nice drop is perfect for a 5 series.

a agree with you 100% i did take a slighter more complicated route
the exhaust is getting modified as we speak for a proper cut out and exhaust tips.
also i wanted to keep the car normal height for the coming winter. once its over the acs springs will be put in and that will lower it a bit. i dont really like slammed cars, the are good looking but parked on on smooth roads, i want the car to be practical and be able to drive it in different environments.
as for the rims i like these ones for now once i can afford a real ACS set i will make the purchase but until then they are staying
and i agree i am not at all a fan of big rims 18's is as big as i will go because most of your ride quality come from the thickness of the timers and i want to have a comfortable ride not not feel like in a hose carriage.

IMO it should all start with the lowering; if the car sits just right, with a nice set of wheels, it can look amazing. And remember, sometimes less is more!
Take the bagdes and fog lights off, black out all the chrome, some tire/trim shine and the car will be great. Dont be scared to lower it, most of us have driven LOW cars in the winter at some point. Euro plates are cool, in Europe! But when you must have 2 on the same bumper, it gets too busy IMO.

the fogs i am waiting for the new ones and i agree i should have never got them in the first place. the badges i want to keep because its just different and since i will have the full kit soon it will go well it think, if i change my mind i will go with the blacked out emblems and call it a day
and yes it will eventually get lowered maybe 1" or so but defently not until the summer comes back
