M42 oil leak fix.... I hope

I've always noticed a little drip here n there with the engine oil.. It got pretty bad last month when the car was sitting. At first i thought it might be the timing chain cover. Further research and looking closer it looked like the leak was from the oil filter canister.

I picked up the "o" ring and gasket needed and started this morning.. Took about 2 hrs.. Had to remove the alternator to get to the bolts for the canister.. Here are some pics.

















This was the old "0" ring...



Changed the oil and filter and went for a drive. Parked the car waited a few hrs and didnt notice anything... Ill know for sure in a few days...
