FS: Rare ARE 4x100, 16x8 ET20 w/ 2” Kodiak lips and custom solid aluminum centercaps

I had the 3pc wheels disassembled and polished so I thought it is time to finally put them back together, put them on the convertible for a little while and now they are up for sale.

This is a rare set of ARE 16x8, 4x100 ET20 with 2” Kodiak lips and custom CNC machined solid aluminum centercaps. The faces, lips and centercaps are all fully polished, NOT chromed.

The wheels will come with one spare solid aluminum centercap and trim ring.

Stainless steel hardware from Germany was ordered to put the wheels back together, here is how they look on the convertible.

I dropped them to Panther Precision, a wheel refinishing shop I use, to be polished and this is what I got back

OEM BMW metal badges were applied and there was not much room for adjustment.

The blue protective film I left on until I finished the assembly.

Once all the wheels were assembled and nuts torqued I got some RTV sealant to seal up each wheel. Being OCD doesn't really help with speeding this part of the process up
