Picked up a Phenix jacket; although it's a ski jacket, it'll work for boarding. Corbett's had some amazing deals!

Nice! Hitting up Corbett's and Hustler before the snow fall can land you some nice deals.

Nice, a buddy of mine has some Phenix gear. They make good stuff. Not sure if you're being sarcastic when you say it will work for boarding, but are there actual differences between ski and board jackets? Other than, I suppose, differences in the style? (board jackets being more on the loose/baggy side)

You're correct. A ski jacket is more fitted and a board jacket is a lot more baggy/loosely fitted.

Also its designed to (if made right and you buy the right one) to attach to your snowboard pants or not expose your back when you sit down and clip your bindings or when your doing tricks etc etc

I can't wait to get out boarding again. I'm at Blue pretty often, 23 visits last season! I'm planning to hit up Tremblant at least once, and hopefully my yearly trip to Killington doesn't fall through this year.

Haven't been to Vermont for quite some time now. Killington is awesome. Gonna check out Stowe this year. Let me know when you're going Nels.
Just bought my early bird for St Louis.

The place is OK. It's not amazing, but it's not bad either. Imho it's the best within the distance. Blue is alright as well, but the crappy drive there, and back (no major highways leading to it) and the huge lineups, unless you go at night make me go elsewhere. It's definitely worth a try.

If you're talking about the gators/elastic band - my jacket has it, but it's still classified as a ski jacket

Just bought myself my new board. Was thinking of waiting until I got to Whistler but couldn't pass up on this deal. It's a brand new Travis Rice Pro Art of Flight limited edition board. Getting a pro type board which is very hard to come by for half its retail price was too good to pass up. lol
So I naturally went out and found a nice pair of 2013 Cartel's in Cement color for pretty and they are in the mail. Can't wait until I get out to Whistler in November! So stoked. lol
