I was just looking through old mail files and I stumbled upon pictures just after I had my E30 painted back in "08. Here are a few pictures showing my 4 year journey of owning my E30.
The first car is not mine but is almost identical to what mine looked like when i bought it.

Oh... and don't sound like they're going to explode.
It goes pretty good, pulls very strong. It has the MarkD 91 chip in it so it has a slight up on most M50's. I like it a lot better than my m20 but wayyyyyyy less noise haha.

Great looking car. Nice to see the progression. Did you originally have diving boards? Converted or tucked? Also noticed you did away with the side skirts. I feel better knowing this stuff takes 4 years. I'm in year one and have barely touched anything aesthetic yet!

Yep, M20's are bulletproof but I would rather have a 24v. Smoother, quieter and more reliable.
My head cracked and it was never overheated... Not as bulletproof as people think they are. Ive heard its a common problem between cylinder 5 and 6. Thats where mine cracked
