RWD wheels on FWD.

Wondering what issue will I run into with running RWD 14" on my Toyota Echo. Im looking at E30 4X100 ( medium offset?) and the echo takes high offset.

Will this be ok to run or do I need to run high offset wheels?

thanks

the wheels will most likely sit flush with your fenders, it may actually look pretty cool.

I was reading about maybe running into tire wear issue or perhaps messing up the handling. Mind you the handling already sucks.

If anything, handling should be better because of the more aggressive stance! Only possible issue might be tires rubbing on fenders, but I doubt it on a stock car.

You won't have any issue with a stock suspension. If it's dumped to the weeds, it might rub. I know people that track their Asian cars (MK2 Jetta & Hyundai Elantra) with E30 bottlecaps without issue. I'm sure your Echo will be okay.

Thanks everyone.

After researching more I found that;

Echo 40mm offset
E30 bottlecaps 35mm and I would assume the stock steelies run the same?

5 - 10mm max is no real issue for offset?

I plan on running 185/65/14 so just some tall skinny tires.

Get hubcentric rings, or you will get wheel wobble
