For those who did not attend Bimmercruise on Sunday, here are a few pics of the project! Big thanks to the crew who stayed up till 4am to get it done, and everybody else involved in the build! A few small things are left to do before the car is 100% done, but VERY happy with it right now! Just a day later, the new project car has rolled in the shop, and will be ready for next spring (E38 lovers might like that one!)
Specs:
Body; 2002 540i M-Sport Touring, 1 of 1 in this colour combo in Canada!
Mechanical; 2000 M5 full S62 swap, 6 speed, short shifter, full M5 brakes
Other mods; CF front lip, lowering, black grills, interior trim, shifter knob.
More info on the car; Being an M-Sport it already comes fully loaded with all the small details that make it feel like an M5! Some of them are; All black roof liner and pillers, M door sills, M steering wheel, 3.15 ratio diff, M bumpers, M side moldings.
