ok so i got a stage 1.5 active charger on my e46m3 but im not getting the same power as "amg etr" i've done my valve adjustments, nothings wrong with the motor. im suspecting a boost leak maybe. thought u guys can give me some insights. im doing 366whp 297tq. csl headers, no cats, supersprint section 2, active auto muffler.

Checking for boost leaks is never a bad idea. There are other factors that can explain the difference in the power output like the type of dyno, dyno settings, room/ambient temp that day etc.

Fuel is a major contributor. Whatever is advertised, could be on a better fuel in lower ambient temps on a less humid day. Even the ethanol content or water content in the tank is huge.

The difference between 91 octane and 94 octane is pretty big. My car made 15% more HP of 94 than when I tuned it on 91.

I think most BMW drivers prefer the quick response and reliability of a N/A motor
