right now its filled with garden edging. im trying to find another E30 lip to cut the center out of to put there. it only has to be a 5.5 inch strip. then its poifect

What's your deal? Did you come here expecting high praise because you took a lip that was made for another car and butchered it to fit your car? Does that warrant an automatic circle jerk in the VW scene or something? I’ll give you kudos for trying something outside the box, but I’m not going to tell you it looks good until it actually looks good. Finish it up, make it look good then report back to get the props you were looking for.

And for the record I have a cut up Volvo lip on my E30 so I definitely don’t mind this sort of thing

+ every e30 in the league has a volvo lip. not really that cool. but i might report back for the 'props im looking for'. im actually in the process of searching for another e30 lip to finish it, the whole cars a work in progress.

Stop being so defensive. If you read what I posted you'll see that I never even said I don't like it.

The only reason I even look at this thread is because I think that when you fill in that gap (properly) it will look pretty good, and I'm waiting to see a picture of it.
