Tranny problems

I have a 2002 325ci

For the last few days I've been hearing a clunking noise and haven't been able to figure it out. But today when I went for a drive I noticed in high revs in first gear the shifting lever pulls extremely hard to the left and looks like its gona snap off and when I let go of the gas I hear the clunking noise and this happens in all gears at high revs. I would like to know what's wrong. I believe my engine or tranny mounts went on a vacation ? If so what are the best replacement for them and where could I buy them from ?

Thanks for all your help

Hanger bearing most likely, or guibo...or both...Not expensive and should be available almost anywhere. Get it done befor you damage more important parts!

My engine mount had completely gave away a piece of it broke off and was resting in the control arm. My oil pan was resting on the shield. I will post a pic of the broken mount and will be replacing them today
