My buddy bought his e36 328i vert from the OP a while ago and has been really happy with it. Everything he replaced was with with high quality aftermarket components and he was very honest and knowledgeable about the car at the time of sale. My friend hasn't had a single hiccup with the car since buying it.

GL with the sale. If I was in the market I would definitely check the car out.

So I just did some math for someone else who thought the price was a bit high.

The steering rack is 200 plus labour of another 2 hours, so 400 bucks
The clutch and flywheel is 1k plus labour of 6 hours so 1600 bucks
The suspension is 1500 plus labour of 4 hours so 1900 bucks
All the bushings have been done ballpark that at another 500
The seats are 2000 by the time you put them in
The short shifter is 400
The rollbar is another 1000 installed.
The camber plates 500 installed
The sunroof delete is 500 installed

So all in there's about 9k in upgrades if you had to pay someone to do the work. 4k or so if you did it yourself.

So assuming you buy a decent M3 for 7k, 11,500 is a fair price for it.
