Holy Hell! What rock did you crawl out of? LOL! Would you consider driving the car to Buffalo and shipping it from there? From what I understand, the border crossing makes carriers hike up the rates HUGE!

I came out for some fresh air but most likely will crawl back under that rock lol!
I wish I could drive the car but that's impossible. I'm living in Barcelona, Spain for the next little while...And the car cant be driven ;(
I got a buddy who is going to finish the work on it and use it as a show car to promote his business. Just need to get it out to him ;(

Theres going to be a minor issue i would think (as i am importing one from Chicargo to Canada now), you need to notify the boarder 72 hours before you do anything.
If you pay someone to do this, i would think thats going to be $3000-5000 worth of money including the actual shipping.

$3 to $5K? way too high... my bro in law is in the auto business and when he was buying cars from the US, it was no where near that. He says with the exchange and pricing changes now, there's little point to buying from the US, so doesn't do it anymore.

I am only looking to ship the car to a friend's shop in NJ. Not looking to "import" it nor change it over to an American car. 3-5k is definitely too much for this, I think, but then again i have no idea what it actually costs. That's part of the reason for the post Might just get Ivan and Lindsay to take it down for me since they offered

I shipped my car from Cali to Ottawa ... cost around $2k. Border was no issue at all. Try looking on A to Z car shipping ... various companies on there you can check rates for.

Never used these two (have done Vancouver-Toronto), but there are some options.

Only thing to consider is, no additional items can be in the car (shipping/customs rules).
The car must run, as they start and drive it up on the truck or rail cars.
You mentioned it cannot be driven, so that might be an issue.
In that case, you would probably need a more private truck shipping compnay.
