Car: E39 on 24"s

Found my next E39.
Yes, I like e39's a lot, and this is definitely something I dream of:

(note: it's actually a nice car, but the description just makes me wonder.)

Overdone with the CF IMO, and the only way to get 360Hp is if you add the 5Hp each of the badges ads!

I was about to say.... ask for a dyno chart and then laugh when he tells you "Well...that's what the guy who sold me the parts told me it should be putting out... did I mention all the parts are highflow?"
That being said, it's still a nice looking car for the money.

Not really, that's M5 money (with higher kms no doubt). Might as well go for the real thing. It does look like it's in good shape (minus the bling wheels and cd hood), but the bigger problem is that it's automatic.

Next. I'll take a high mile M5 any day.
No replacement for a WBS vin.
Looks nice though, no doubt.

Do you have dyno results to prove? Which shop did the tune?
Thank you.

Is the E39 M5 going for that cheap now? I haven't been keeping tabs for a while now. In my mind a nice E39 M5 is still a $20k+ car.

Most likely has Dinan mods from the way he worded it.

doesn't matter if all the bolt ons were all Dinan, still won't have that power, remember MAX member Paul540/m3, he had a 98 540 6spd, had pretty much all the Dinan bolt ons, still didn't produce more power than my 98 540 autotragic, the only way he's getting that much power without a S62 is swapping in the 4.6 or 4.8is motor from a X5, than maybe he might have that much HP at the crank.
