I spent the weekend hanging out at Mosport. Sunday night Rudy did some nice vinyl work to my Hans device. I definitely don't like being ordinary so the carbon was being covered up!
I think it turned out awesome. Rudy did it all by hand!
Definitely going to paint the tether mounts black.

Why are you adding weight around head and shoulders? if you crash into a wall head on, you may generate well over 30 Gs, if not more, and even an ounce of stickers will feel like a couple of pounds. you guys seem to spend all this money on mods and so-called "track/seat time", yet seem not to know any of the basics.
and painting those brackets black will make them heavier and hotter, which may be detrimental to the tethers.

Kurt's head is huge, it's really a medical anomaly. Because of this his neck muscles have been strengthened considerably over the years from holding up his pumpkin sized noggin. So adding weight to the Hans is a moot point.
Hope that clears it up.

Cool thread/build/car/vidoes, and funny reading about this Racer guy randomly trolling. I wanted to do a build like you on my old M3 but then I began racing motorcycles.

I did read quite a few of your posts in this thread and they were quite ridiculous, just saying. Unless you're just joking around.
And if you're suggesting I'm a troll, all I'm doing is telling the OP I appreciate his thread because it's something I wish I could have done to my M3. Also I like his Mosport vids because I tracked my motorcycle there so it's interesting to see the comparison in lines and lap times.

What is ridiculous is that you're on a BMW forum daydreaming you are at Daytona 500 with a Mazda 323! Now how ridiculous does that sound! Very!
